Tom Wilkins
Street Photographer
What if one small conversation could change everything?
Tom Wilkins used to do whatever he could to avoid people. Then 12 months ago, he picked up a camera and was hooked. He now spends his days photographing complete strangers on the street.
What started as a way to deal with social anxiety, quickly became something much bigger. It became a way to connect with people, lift them up, and change how they see themselves.
In just one year, his work has grown to over 150,000 followers across social media, leading to collaborations with major brands like LADbible and Tesco, and a full feature by the BBC.
A reminder to take that first step outside your comfort zone.
